Vice President and Managing Director – Europe
Andreas H. Sander is Vice President and Managing Director for Boston Healthcare Associates International and leads the European team and the firm’s activities in Germany and Europe out of Boston Healthcare’s Berlin office.
Mr. Sander has broad expertise in the European health care markets as well as an in-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry. In the course of his career, he has successfully managed pharmaceutical businesses and products with multinational companies in the areas of sales, marketing, market access, and general management. With Wyeth, ALK-Abello, and Sanofi Pasteur MSD, Mr. Sander served as Vice President and General Manager for operations in Germany, Poland, Switzerland, and Austria. Mr. Sander has broad knowledge of therapeutic indications ranging from primary care to specialty indications such as rheumatology and dermatology, as well as vaccine medicines.
Mr. Sander has completed pharmaceutical sciences studies at Heidelberg and Berlin University and holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
